What we believe about giving.

As disciples of Jesus, we believe God calls us to a life of generosity. One of the ways we live this at Harvest Valley is by practicing a Biblical principle called the tithe, which is returning a tenth of our income back to God.

We believe generosity also goes above and beyond, investing even sacrificially into bringing the message and impact of the Gospel to more people both locally and globally. We give opportunity for this in two ways: through Kingdom Builders and our Expansion Fund.

Why we give.

We view how we direct the time, talents, and treasure we have as opportunities for each of us to grow in our discipleship. In Matthew 6:21, Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” At Harvest Valley, we respond to this through our value of “Live to Give”.

One of the ways we do this is through practicing a Biblical principle called the tithe, which is returning a tenth of our income back to God. We don't see this as a financial discipline but as a spiritual one. Our tithes support the operations and ministries of our church. It is how we pay for rent, equipment, resources, and salaries. We get excited about growing and seeing others grow as believers.

Ways to invest with us.

Once you are faithfully trusting God in tithing, we invite you to go above and beyond, investing with us in opportunities for the Kingdom of God to expand both locally and internationally. We do this in two ways: through Kingdom Builders and our Expansion Fund.

• Kingdom Builders: Kingdom Builders is an avenue by which we invest into local and international ministries, organizations, and individuals which are working to bring the Gospel to more people.
• Expansion Fund: The Expansion Fund is an intentional step of stewardship. We believe God has called us to be a church proclaiming the Gospel in Horace for generations. We intend to be a church that expands, plants other churches, and partners in a Kingdom Harvest. As a church family, we are seeking to invest and position ourselves for these chapters ahead.
