We believe church should be a place where kids love coming and parents can breathe a little easier. Our team is committed to creating secure, engaging environments where children build friendships, discover God's love, ask questions, and grow in a relationship with Jesus.
Our Mission: We exist to partner with parents as they invest in their child’s spiritual growth – with the vision of seeing every child come to have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see your family know Christ and follow Him in the context of community.

what to expect
From the moment you arrive, our goal is simple: help your family feel at home.
We'll welcome you, help you get your children checked in, and walk you through everything so you never feel like you're figuring it out alone. Our Kids Team is passionate about creating a place where children feel safe, have fun, build friendships, and discover who Jesus is.
While your kids are learning and growing in their own environment, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the service knowing they're in caring hands. We hope your first visit is the beginning of a church family where your whole family can grow together.
First time guests
We're so glad you're planning to visit!
Upon arrival, come to the Kids Check-in Desk. One of our Hospitality Team members will gladly show you the way!
The first step will be to register your family using our secure check-in system.
To create your family's secure profile, we'll ask for:
- Parent or guardian names
- Child's name and birthdate
- Address
- Phone number
- Any important information, such as allergies, medical needs, or special instructions
To make your first visit even smoother, you can pre-register your family before you arrive so you can spend more time getting settled and less time filling out forms.
Sunday Check In
Checking in each Sunday is quick, simple, and secure.
When you arrive, stop by one of our Kids Check-In stations and use your registered phone number to check in your child. You'll receive a matching security tag that you'll use when picking up your child after the service.
If you're ever unsure where to go or have questions, our team is always happy to help. We want every family to feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Safety
Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities.
Every Harvest Valley Kids Team member completes a background check and approval process before serving. During each service, our Safety Team helps provide a secure environment by monitoring the facility and managing access to our Kids Ministry spaces.
To help protect every child:
- Only checked-in children may enter Kids Ministry classrooms.
- Parents or guardians receive a matching security tag at check-in.
- Children are released only to the adult with the matching security tag.
We take every step we can to create a safe, welcoming environment where your child can learn about Jesus and have fun.
Notifications During the Service
If your child needs you during the service, we'll contact you right away.
Nursery
Parents receive a pager at check-in that we'll use if we need to reach you. (Don't worry, it doesn't play the Jaws theme.)
Pre-K & Elementary
We'll send a text message to the phone number you provided at check-in.
Restroom & Diaper Policy
We want every child to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they're with us.
For children in the nursery, we ask that parents or guardians handle all diaper changes. If your child needs a diaper change during the service, we'll notify you so you can return to the Kids Ministry area.
Children who use the restroom independently are welcome to do so. For their safety, at least two adult team members remain nearby and monitor from outside the closed restroom door. If your child needs assistance, we'll notify you right away.
Nursing Mothers
Need a quiet, private place to feed your little one? We've got you covered.
Our Nursing Mother's Room is available during every service. If you need help finding it, just ask anyone at the Kids Check-In desk.

Using The Bible Engagement Project app, your family can continue to journey through the same curriculum our Kids Ministry uses on Sunday. It has lessons for all ages designed for you to gather and study the Bible together.

Dedicating your child to the Lord is a beautiful and meaningful occasion. The purpose of Child Dedication is for parents to publicly present their child before God and the church, committing to seek after His grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities.
