Nate Aakre

Nate thinks this age group is an absolute blast! Back in college, he interned and helped lead the youth group at his church (which he jokes was a total disaster 🙂).

Since then, most of his involvement has come through annual mission trips to Chicago led by his father-in-law, Pastor Cal, who faithfully led those trips for 30 years before passing away in 2022. It was actually on that trip this past summer that Nate began to sense the Lord’s leading to prepare for something greater — which ultimately brought him here!

His heart is that kids in our community would come to know Jesus personally, build their lives on God’s Word, and learn to walk each day led by the Holy Spirit.

In addition to serving with youth, Nate is also an Elder at Harvest Valley.
