Kaela Olson

Kaela grew up in the small town of Washburn, ND and felt the Lord’s call to ministry in her late elementary years. She moved to Rockford, IL after high school to attend a ministry training school, and has been involved in ministry ever since. Over the years, Kaela has served in a variety of roles, including youth and young adult ministry, church planting, and missions. She received her pastoral license in 2011.

For eight years, Kaela and her family served as missionaries in Africa before settling in the Fargo-Moorhead area. She currently works part-time as a preschool aide while also pouring into her most important  roles — being a wife to Peter and a mom to their three children.

Kaela is passionate about helping students encounter the life-changing love of Jesus. Her heart is to see young people walk in freedom, discover their identity in Christ, and live out the purpose God has for them.

She’s known for her joyful, kind, and approachable spirit, and she loves connecting with others and working as part of a team. When she’s not at church or spending time with her family, you’ll likely find her enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, or catching up with friends over coffee.
