Kaela Olson
Hi! I’m Kaela! I grew up in Washburn, ND, a small town between Bismarck and Minot. I felt God’s call to ministry in my late elementary years, and after high school, I moved to Rockford, IL, to attend a ministry training school. Since then, I’ve been involved in ministry my entire adult life — from youth and young adult ministry to church planting and missions — and I received my pastoral license in 2011.
For eight years, our family served as missionaries in Africa before returning to settle in the Fargo-Moorhead area. These days, I work part-time as a preschool aide while also pouring into my most important roles as wife to Peter and mom to Arielle, Judah, and Everett.
Friends describe me as joyful, kind, welcoming, and approachable. I love connecting with people, listening well, and working alongside others as part of a team.
When I’m not at church or chasing kids, I enjoy adventuring outdoors, reading, or catching up with friends over coffee. (Fun fact: I’ve ridden elephants in Thailand, camels in Africa, and even pet tigers in Asia!)
My heart is for our youth to truly encounter God’s love — to find freedom, identity, and purpose in Him — and to live transformed by the only One who makes us whole.
