Peter Olson

Peter carries the role of Executive Pastor at HVC! Before joining us, Peter's journey spanned multiple continents and callings. He started out as an engineer but traded that in 2013 for life as an expat in Tanzania. He later moved his growing family to Ethiopia, where they helped start and lead an international church.

A teacher at heart, Peter delights in pursuing and sharing truth with others. His diverse interests include hiking, endless learning pursuits, and quality time with his wife, Kaela, and their three children. Instinctively the quietest on staff, the rumor stands that he frequented mosh pits in the early 2000s.
