WHY WE EXIST
We believe people in the Valley need real hope in Jesus, not just religion.
It’s why we’re not interesting in putting on a show or going through the motions.
So we're building a church of people seeking to truly know Jesus, grow in community with one another, and become who God created them to be.
Everything we do flows from that.
This is why we exist.
Our Vision
We exist to build the church in the Valley through Christ-centered teaching, life-giving relationships, and Spirit-empowered mission.
We exist to build the church in the Valley through Christ-centered teaching, life-giving relationships, and Spirit-empowered mission.
We believe the local church is God’s plan to bring hope to communities.
Our heart is to see more life-giving churches across the Red River Valley where people meet Jesus and lives are changed.
We are committed to being that kind of church—a beacon of hope speaking truth, equipping others, catalyzing change, and reaching the next generation.
our values
What we believe
These are the core truths that shape our faith, our teaching, and how we live as followers of Jesus.
Jesus
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity. Jesus Christ is 100% man and 100% God.
He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life.
He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and within His people.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God.
He is present in the world to make humanity aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation.
He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.
The Christian seeks to live under His guidance daily.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift to you if you’ll accept it.
We can never make up for our sin with self-improvement or good works. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness that you can be saved from sin’s penalty.
Eternal life begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life by faith.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to all humanity.
It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
Humanity
Humanity, male and female, was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended.
Because of this, humanity became separated from God, and sickness, death, and judgment entered the world.
All of creation now experiences the effects and consequences of sin and humanity’s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Eternity
You were created to exist forever.
We believe that forever is spent in one of two places: eternally separated from God because of sin or in union with God because of His forgiveness and salvation.
When you die, you will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. Eternal separation from God happens in hell. Eternal union with God occurs in heaven.
Power of God
In relationship with Jesus, we are not only saved from our sins and transformed by His work in our lives.
We also become carriers of His power that works in us and through us.
The Church
The Church is the body of believers who gather together for worship, encouragement, support, and mission.
equipping families to thrive
We have a heart for families and a passion for helping the next generation grow in their relationship with Jesus. From our dynamic kids' and youth ministries to our life-giving small groups, we're committed to equipping every generation to live out their faith with passion and purpose.
So go ahead, bring along the fam – we know that parenting is a wild, wonderful, and sometimes exhausting journey, but you don't have to do it alone. We're here to support you, pray for you, and remind you that you're doing an amazing job (even if your socks don't always match).
a place to belong
This isn’t just a place to attend. It’s a place to belong and a community to be a part of.
We don't expect you to have it all together. We’re all taking steps and we want to walk those roads together.
We want to meet you!
No matter where you are in your faith journey, you’re welcome here.
We’d love to meet you this Sunday!
