Birth To 2 Years
Your baby will experience personal care from our team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned. We also take time to love and pray for your baby each week.
3 Years – Pre-K
In preschool, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. They also start to form relationships with other kids and their teachers.
K – 5th Grade
Every weekend, your children Kindergarten through fifth grade come to a Harvest Valley Kids service where they experience dynamic worship and Biblical teaching. Together, they learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other.
What To Expect On Your First Visit
Our dedicated Kids Team is ready to love and invest in your children!
Check-In
On your first visit, we need the following personal information which is entered into our secure database check-in system: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions(allergies, special needs) for each child.

To enter our secure area you and your child will each get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, we will display your child's security code on the screen. Your security code sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.
Bathroom Policy
Nursery (0-2 Years)
We do not change diapers in the nursery. If a child needs a diaper change, you will be notified (see Notifications During the Service below).
Preschool (3-5 years)
Two team members will take your child if they can independently use the bathroom. We will remain outside of the door and will not assist them. If your child is potty-training, please take them to the bathroom before service. If your child needs assistance using the bathroom, you will be notified (see Notifications During the Service below).
Elementary (K-5th)
Two team members will take your child if they can independently use the bathroom. We will remain outside of the door and will not assist them. If your child needs assistance using the bathroom, you will be notified (see Notifications During the Service below).
Nursing Mother’s Room
The Nursing Mother’s Room is available to mother's who are nursing. This private space is located near the restrooms.
Safety
All Harvest Valley Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own safety team to ensure your child’s safety. When you check in, you will receive a security tag that matches the tags placed on your child(ren). Please have your tag ready for the teacher at the door. Only parents/guardians with a tag will be allowed to pick up their child(ren).
Notifications During the Service
Your security tag number will be shown on the screen if we need to contact you during the service. If your tag matches, please promptly go to the Kids Check-in table.
Child Dedications
The purpose of Child Dedications is for parents to present their child before God and the church, committing to seek after His grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. If you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord, we are excited for you! To sign up, please fill out the Connect Card.
Bible Engagement Project
A core value at Harvest Valley Church is to build healthy families. One of the ways we do that is by providing tools to help your family thrive.
Using The Bible Engagement Project app, your family can continue in parallel through the same curriculum our Kids Ministry uses on Sunday. It has lessons for all ages designed for you to gather and study the Bible together. You will discover things you never knew before and will learn how relevant the Bible is to our everyday lives.
